Word  - Paragraph formatting

Part 9

In the Name Box type in My heading. You can view the title in the Preview Box. If you do not see it viewed in the Preview Box, Close the box by clicking on cancel. Then Select or Highlight your title. Go through to the Format/Style on your toolbars and click on New. Once you have given your heading a name you can click OK. Click Apply to set the Style.

Click on the black downward arrow next to the box of the Body Text you will see your style called ‘My Heading’ which you can use again if you tick the Add to Template box. (See above diagram)

The text we have typed out looks nice but we make further changes.

Select the text by clicking and dragging.

Go to the Format menu click on Paragraphs from here click on the Line Spacing Option and change the line spacing to 2.0 or Double.

Look at the Preview. Click OK

Your text will now be double lined. When you want to remove the double lines. Repeat the same steps only this time click on the single option.
