When a word is spelt incorrectly you can wait until the end of the document and complete a through spell check. For the odd word, click on the incorrectly spelt word itself, right click on the mouse, and the correct spelling should present itself. You can perform this feature for grammar also. Once you have finished your document, use the spell and grammar checker, click on Tools/Spelling and grammar to perform the actions.
Creating bookmarks is useful when you need to get around your document quickly. We can create a bookmark by clicking on Insert/Bookmark. When the box appears, add in a memorable name for the bookmark, such as bookmark one, or the title, or instance in your document. Then click on Add. That is all there is to it, you now have a bookmark that you can use as a cross reference.
When you need to access the bookmark, click on Insert/Bookmark and choose the bookmark name by selecting it and then click on: Go To: Another way to access the bookmark is to click on the shortcut key F5. To delete a bookmark; click on Insert/Bookmark select the bookmark you want to delete and then hit the delete key.
Whilst you are typing out your book, thesis, or long document, you may come to a place in the document, where you need a page break. The quick way to add a break is to press Ctrl+Return.
Or you can click on Insert/Break this dialogue box appears allowing us to choose the kind of break that we want to use.
