
Remove the shading the same way as you applied it, back to white. To make the text more attractive we will indent the paragraphs. To do this click on Format then Paragraphs click on Indents and Spacing and in the Special box click on First Line. You can see a preview in the Preview box at the bottom of this menu box.
Click on OK
Your text should now look like this below.
Trying to furnish a home in an ecologically conscious manner does limit your choices (which can actually make the job easier). When it came to decorating our new country home, I wanted to do it myself, so I didn't hire a designer. There's something about the thrill of the hunt—otherwise known as shopping—that's just too much fun to delegate.
I started the process with the most eco-friendly choice of all: antiques. From both sides of my family, I've been blessed with great hand-me-downs, some of which have needed costly restoration work. But the restoration expenses were eased by knowing that buying new furniture of comparable quality to that made 100 years ago would cost much more.
An alternative way is to select all of the text and click on this button
which is located on the right hand side of your Toolbar. You will note that all of your text has moved. To move it back Click on the
button. This is on the Formatting toolbar if you are not familiar with this toolbar, move your cursor just under each button to get a screen tip which is a small message, and find out what each of the tools do. If you do not
see any screen tips, make sure they are switched on: Tools/Options and place a tick next to Screen Tips.
